1) app/code/core/Mage/Catalog/Block/List/Toolbar.php (line 48) * swap 47 and 48 to sort in title order first then best match that way it will sort them by brand where brand is in the title.
2) app/design/frontend/default/default/template/catalog/product/list.phtml (line 50) ** remove ucwords(strtolower( ))
