Once again the NFL is trying to screw the Detroit Lions.
Being a life-long Detroit Lions fan, I’m never amazed with the lengths the league will go to screw our home team. Weather it be bad calls, or touch-downs ruled incomplete passes for not completing the process we’ve seen it all here in Michigan. Well, at least I thought we had.
I’m up in arms about the 2011 Thanksgiving Day Game, the Detroit Lions vs the Green Bay Packers in which, the alarmingly bad band “Nickelback”, will perform.
Alas, we have a chance, recently Nickelback was scheduled to open a game for the Winnipeg Jets’ that was cancelled due in part to a petition created by fans to boycott the game. Thankfully, there is a movement to once again try and stop Nickelback from performing in public.
If you can help us stop this travesty, please visit change.org and sign the petition.
